Shipping policy

Spotter buoys ship in 1–3 weeks. Spotter with Smart Mooring ships in about 6 weeks. All orders ship DAP, and buyers outside the United States are responsible for import duties and taxes.

Shipping terms

All Sofar Ocean products ship DAP (Delivered at Place, Incoterms 2010). Shipping and handling are pre-paid by Sofar and added to your purchase price. Title to the hardware and all risk of loss pass to you on delivery at the agreed destination.

Import duties and taxes — orders outside the United States

For deliveries outside the United States, you are the importer of record. You are responsible for fulfilling quota terms, obtaining any required import licenses, and paying import license or permit fees, duties, customs fees, and any other governmental or import taxes or fees.

These charges are not included in the price shown at checkout. They are billed to you directly by the carrier or your customs authority.

• Spotter buoy: 1–3 weeks
• Spotter + Smart Mooring: 6 weeks

Orders ship once payment has been received in full. If your deployment window is fixed, email support@sofarocean.com before you order and we will confirm what is achievable.
